This double bill ballet explores the history and themes of the iconic late 70s night club Studio 54. While Veneruso’s piece The Rise uses classical ballet technique to retell some of the decisive moments in the club’s rapid rise to fame, Oliveira’s Last Dance delves into the darker sides of disco life.
