Michael Levine designed a sterile neo-classical ballroom which Semele begins to deconstruct and welcomes in the world of Jupiter, in the shape of black feathers. I assisted him throughout the production process including Bauproben, workshop meetings and the rehearsal period.
A co-production with the Metropolitan Opera New York.
